Bobby Hutton Photo Exhibit
Well known photographer, Ilka Hartmann, has agreed to do a photo exhibit
featuring photo's from the Bobby Hutton funeral (1968), the memorial rally
afterwards at Lake Merritt, and other rallies at the Bobby Hutton park in
West Oakland.
The exhibit will open April 2nd, 2005 at the West Oakland Library at
1801 Adeline St. and will continue through the Bobby Hutton day on
April 16th.

Host for this years event will be Wanda Sabir
of the San Francisco BayView Newspaper.
Elbert "Big Man" Howard will be the keynote speaker at this years Lil Bobby Hutton Day.
"Big Man" as Party members called him, will also be selling and signing his new book
"Panther on the Prowl".
"Big Man" was one of the original members of the BPP (1966-1974), Deputy Minister
of Information, first editor of the BPP newspaper, member of the Central Committee,
Party spokesman. Come meet this Real Panther.
Bobby Hutton Day will be held April 16, 2005, at the West Oakland Library,
located at 1801 Adeline St. Oakland at 1:00 PM.
"Big Man" will be appearing at Carol's Books
