A CELEBRATION OF LIFE
JANET CYRIL
Freedom Fighter Sister Mother Teacher Cousin Friend Mentor Lover Grandma Neighbor Aunt Survivor

After more than five decades of passionate resistance and ferocious survival, our mother Janet Cyril died near the dawn of Saturday, January 15th, 2005.  She was 59 years old.

Though sickle cell had weakened her body, our mother's spirit remained strong and is with us today.  If you are one of the many that have been touched by her courage, her commitment, and her compassion- please join us with bright colors, song, and poetry in our celebration of her life.
