ABOUT THE TUPAC AMARU SHAKUR FOUNDATION

The Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation (TASF) is the heartbeat of Tupac's legacy. TASF was formed to bring quality arts training to youth, encourage freedom of expression, serve as a resource for families, and empower via education.

 

The Foundation was founded in 1997 by Afeni Shakur, mother of multi-talented Tupac Shakur. TASF offers book clubs, after school enrichment classes, cultural exchange, workshops, and leadership & arts summer camps. TASF is a 501 ( c ) 3 non-profit organization located at the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts in Stone Mountain, Georgia. The Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts features rotating exhibits, Tupac memorabilia, performance area, gift shop, and 6 acre Peace Garden replete with flowers, trees, three screened pavilions and a statue of Tupac Shakur.
