On behalf of the San Francisco Bay Guardian, I would like to congratulate you on winning a Guardian Outstanding Local Discovery award for Lifetime Achievement!

Since 1989, the Goldies have honored many talented individuals and groups working in the realms of visual arts, dance, music, theater, spoken word, literature, and pretty much every creative category in between. Winners in recent years have included Barry Jenkins, Bruce Conner, Marc Bamuthi Joseph, Neurosis, Erika Shuch, Matmos, Dan the Automator, Remy Charlip, the Coup, and Barry McGee -- just to name a few. We truly appreciate the work that you do and are proud and excited to add you to the list.
